Essi is a member of several associations, a woman who has a vast experience in the field of jewelry and art. Essi is our guest jury member and will represent the Lahti Institute of Art and Design when selecting the PIECE OF Finland.

Mari Isopahkala

Mari is an internationally recognized multi talented designer.

Mari was a guest designer of Lapponia Jewelry in 2011. She designed a jewelry collection called ’Winter Pearl’. Despite her young age she has a unique and fresh outlook for design and she uses different materials very open-mindedly. Mari represents the jury in the PIECE OF Finland, the PIECE OF Norway and the PIECE OF Denmark competitions.

Elise Levanto

Elise works at Nokia’s Consumer Intelligence.

At the moment Elise is developing different means on how to better use consumer research and how to improve its communication. In the near past her work has been to foresee the future, anticipating how people will change the world and vice versa. With the team, she has searched and found new product ideas and opportunities to be used in business.

Elise is interested in both new and old cultures and lifestyles – ideas created and executed by people all over the world. Elise represents the jury when selecting the PIECE OF Finland  and the PIECE OF Norway.

Ulla Koskinen

Editor-in-chief of Deko Magazine.

In addition to her editor-in-chief duties Ulla maintains the quality of the Deko Scandinavia web magazine which keeps you up-to-date of the most interesting news around Scandinavian design. Ulla is part of the jury when selecting the PIECE OF Finland and the PIECE OF Norway.

Heli Kauhanen

Heli Kauhanen (designer, MA) is a jewellery and small-crafts designer,  an entrepreneur with a Master’s Degree in Arts.

At the moment Heli is working for her own design company, Spoonfull Design. Heli has over 12 years of experience as a freelance designer and an entrepreneur. Heli represents the jury in the PIECE OF Finland, the PIECE OF Norway and the PIECE OF Denmark competitions.

Minna Pajari

One of the founders of Piece Of Memories Oy and the secretary of the jury.

Minna brings PIECE OF’s thoughts to the jury and is part of the jury in every competition.

Local Guest Member

When voting for the PIECE OF Norway our local jury member is Line Bendixen. She’s 30 years old and she lives in Oslo with her boyfriend and her son. She works for an international company, running and designing the companys website.

PIECE OF Denmark has two local jury members;

Bo Pedersen, Studieleder for E-design, Institut for Aedelmetal samt PBA i smykker, teknologi & business.

Pirita Taskinen, D&A Publikumsservice, at the National Museum of Denmark.

Voice of the People

is teaching 20 years Metal Art. Jewelry, working with medal art.
